From the time of lockdown in 2020 up to now German tourist, Karin Kedem has come out with a series of singles, EPs in collaboration with many artists. She was featured in singles and some of collaborations were more or less the same. Back in 2016-2019 she also worked with artists such as Jaiva Zimnike and etc.
She has worked with Jaiva Zimnike on several songs but they came back with an EP, they did a song called SESIBUYILE. It was released in 2022. The aim of their collaboration is to empower youth and encourage them to get education. Mzuvukile Khanyeza popularly known as Jaiva Zimnike is widely recommended with bringing Maskandi guitar into life. As a result he is in a lot of demand with other artist. Jaiva Zimnike’s most famous collaborations are with Big Zulu, Mroza Fakude, Igcokama Elisha, Khuzani, Big Nuz, Shwi Nomtekhala, the list is endless.
When international travel became possible again after the lockdown, Karin was among the first people out of the gate, she took the plunge and travelled to South Africa where she got to work with Frank Petros.
Frank is an extremely creative artist and entrepreneur finding time to release some music at least once in a while. And he has appeared on a lot of other people’s songs too. His best known features are Zakwe, Emza, Bahubhe Artchild Africa, Fey M, Mzulu. The bulk of his work has been with unknown artists doing different genres. This particular single he did with Karin is Reggae, titled ON MY KNEES. It is in three different languages, English, German and Chewa.
Karin makes long lasting relationships with South African singers, she has also worked with Umtata born singer who goes by the name of Dinkie. Buntu Manjati (Dinkie) is an independent Hip-Hop artist. He met with Karin Kedem back in 2017 at a Maskandi Festival at Curries Fountain in Durban where she was performing with Jaiva Zimnike. Dinkie wasn’t only impressed by Karin’s energy on stage but he has already racked up an amazing feature with Karin called AS LONG AS I LIVE on his album. Again in 2022 Dinkie collaborated with Karin in his single called LOLLIPOPS. It was then released on the 13 th of February 2023.
LOLLIPOPS is available on all online stores. Another one is about to be released. We can’t forget to mention the time Karin collaborated with Fey M, on a single called LET’S GO and UYAPHOLISA that was definitely one of the many random musical collaborations but it turned out very well. What  makes a musical collaboration so great is the element of surprise. Sometime a song that has no business working out ends up  being the best. I mean a joint track between Karin, Sibah Musiq, La Mos Musiq and SoniqT.
The Song is called RUNNING. Sibah Musiq doesn’t really plan to work on an album or single especially when with Karin they just play around with other artists and   create something powerful. (Although we do have a Song together since 2019 called DANCE ALL NIGHT) Sibah Musiq doesn’t set himself to one genre or style, he is unique with anything. Sibah is a producer, vocalist and sound engineer from Empangeni. He is mostly known for his best collaborations with popular Dj Amenisto, Jabulani Shandu Ematshana, DJ Mpilo, Shakes Ngema.
His biggest feature is with Master KG, not yet out. His career is littered with memorable appearances though, including guest performance at Ukhozi FM. Songs Sibah created with Karin include: SUMMER  RAIN by DJ Lation & Thee Exclusives featuring Karin Kedem and Cristián I.G. Alvarez NOTHING CAN STOP US by  BlaqShandis featuring Karin. LIFE by SoniqT, DJ Coolio and Karin is out on and available on online stores.
Her idea, the vibe and goal is to unite and create something different as often the language mix makes it special.
