Speaking on the collaboration, Sosboy Fosho sys he has always had an admiration for Betusile, his work ethic and dedication to his music.
“I’ve always admired Betusile’s sincerity and the way his music carries truth. We crossed paths through mutual circles, and the idea grew naturally from conversation to calling.”
Betusile, known for his award-winning gospel anthems and impactful worship music, described the collaboration as timely and intentional.
“Music is a tool to reach hearts. This song shows that faith can meet people where they are, even through sounds they connect with daily,” Sosoboy Fosho says.
“When I met Sosoboy and spoke with his Mom I discovered a very spiritual side I didn’t know about him and for me collaborating with him made perfect sense and the song we chose to do was more of his personal testimony of how he grew up and how his Mother had a positive influence on who we see today,” Betusile shared.
The track ‘Makadunyiswe’ explores themes of inner struggle, grace, and hope, offering a fresh sound that resonates with both hip-hop and gospel audiences. It also highlights a growing movement within the music industry where artists are fearlessly collaborating across genres to create meaningful, boundary-breaking art.
The single will be released on all major digital platforms, on Friday 30 January 2026.
