Say Hello to our New Caesar!
Renowned actor Hlomla Dandala is warmly welcomed back to the e.tv stable for the recast role of Caesar Ngonyama, in Season 2 of the hit telenovela Smoke & Mirrors from the 16th of April at 9PM. And make no mistake, the man is about to murder his role just as his character does his victims.
“This is an exciting challenge for me, the character of Caesar is loved by our viewers, my aim is to please and ensure that I deliver as a performer. Playing a villainous character such as Caesar will surely bring the best out of me. But more than anything I’m excited to be back with the eFamily and I look forward to a real joyride as we enter the second season of the show”, said Dandala.

We pick up the story with Caesar and Thandiswa on their wedding day. Mthetho, played by Kabomo Vilakazi, had just died, and right there on the spot Caesar makes another vow on his wedding day – to avenge the death of his best friend. But Caesar is unaware that his wife committed the crime. And we’re about to witness a side of Caesar that no one has ever seen before.
