Mabuza is excited to be heading to Japan for the Capcom Cup and is looking forward to representing his country on the global stage once again. “I feel this will be a whole new Capcom Cup experience for me. I now have a character who’s opened my eyes to the game and has shown me what I feel I have been missing in previous competitions. Leading up to the tournament I’ve been putting in the work behind the scenes and will do my best to represent South Africa as best as I can in Japan,” said Mabuza.
Stephan Vermaas, Manager at Goliath Gaming, notes that it has been incredible to see how the gaming community around Jabhi have all rallied together to assist him in his preparations for Capcom Cup 11. “Many of the top South African players, who frequently attend our McDonald’s gaming activations and private training bootcamps, have given their time and talents to help him prepare! Our brand partners like, McDonald’s SA, Acer Africa, Red Bull, Nike and Ridge Park Sports Club have each offered support to see our local hero represent South Africa abroad.
