Following the success of its first two editions in 2022, the world’s most-loved Irish whiskey is back with another Jameson Connect event that’s guaranteed to bring together lovers of culture and Jameson under one roof in a reimagined way.
Jameson, who recently launched its new positioning, Widen The Circle, is on a mission to connect kindred spirits across the city as a way of encouraging Joburgers to expand their circles and discover Jameson’s brand essence of togetherness.
The Johannesburg leg of the event, taking place on 25 March 2023, will see Jameson bring together four regions of Jozi under one roof through an array of experiences that define how unique each of them is.
Whether you are from the North, South, East or West side of Johannesburg, the Jameson Connects Jozi event will offer consumers a chance to not only socialize amongst each other as Joburgers; but learn about each ‘hood’ through their culture, love for food and entertainment, all made better with Jameson in hand.
“One of the biggest take-outs from last year’s Jameson Connect events is that South Africans love bonding over a common interest and this helps strengthen their networks,” says Jameson Whiskey Marketing Activations Manager, Sheila Chisina.
“As successful as this was, we decided to do things differently this year because we at Jameson feel our consumers should not just form these connections based on their similarities, but make it a point to learn about where these kindred spirits are from,” she concludes.
The notion around Joburg being too small of a city is what excites Jameson because this insight not only challenges them by bringing Joburgers from different regions together, but for meaningful tribes to be formed despite cultural differences.
