SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT AFRICA CELEBRATES ITS ARTISTS’ NOMINATIONS AT THE 2025 METRO FM AWARDS
Last night, at the highly anticipated Metro FM Awards nomination announcement, Sony Music Entertainment Africa artists proudly stood tall as a beacon of success, celebrating their extraordinary achievements. Their talents were truly the shining stars of the night, garnering multiple nominations across a variety of categories.
The nominees include Tyler ICU, who is nominated for Artist of the Year and Best Male. Felo Le Tee‘s hit ‘Yebo Lapho’ has secured nominations for Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Amapiano, and Best Viral Song.. Mr Pilato, Ego Slimflow & Tebogo G Mashego’s ‘Biri Marung’ is also in the running for Best Music Video, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Amapiano, and Best Viral Song. Kabza De Small’s ‘Wishi Wishi’ has earned nominations for Best Viral Song, Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Male, and Best Collaboration. K.O is nominated in the Best Hip Hop category for ‘Let Me Cook’, while Shekhinah‘s ‘Risk’, Nanette‘s ‘Tonight’, and Langa Mavuso‘s ‘Best Friend’ are all competing for Best R&B Song. Lastly, Mlindo The Vocalist is also among the nominees with his song ‘Umdali’.
