Homba Mazaleni, a sports scientist and aspiring biokineticist steps into the Arizona Birko-Flor Patent Leather in digital green, to make the ultimate summer statement. It is a giant leap from her sky-high stilettos which graced the stage of the Miss South Africa 2023 pageant, where Homba claimed 5th place. Homba describes the self-doubt she felt when entering the pageant, needing to learn to walk in heels. “I am not this person,” she says: “But I thought, take a chance on yourself and see what happens. I am glad that I did as it has taken me to unexpected and magical places.”

Blood & Water, at first pursued a tertiary education in Information Technology, but always felt a calling to act. It was a gentle push from a high school teacher which gave him the confidence to step out and follow his true passion.
