The new V-Class V300d: new engine, new transmission
With the four-cylinder OM 654 engine and the 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission now available for the first time with V300d, V-Class delivers even more driving fun. With 174 kW and 500 Nm of torque, V300d sets the benchmark in the MPV. What’s more, thanks to the new engine generation, it is also more efficient and cleaner than before and offers an improved level of noise and vibration comfort.\
The four-cylinder OM 654 diesel with 174 kW and 500 Nm of torque sets the benchmark in the MPV segment. In the acceleration phase, the V300d can deliver an additional 30 Nm of torque for a short time (“overtorque”).
Available for the first time with V-Class, the 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission improves shift comfort and fuel efficiency.
The driver can use the DYNAMIC SELECT switch to select the drive programs “Comfort” and “Sport” and thus influence the gearshifting characteristics.
Alternatively, “Manual” mode allows the driver to shift manually using the DIRECT SELECT steering wheel paddles.
