Education: Studying BCom Law at the University of South Africa. With the intention of doing LLB and becoming an Advocate.

Short Bio:
BCom Law student at the University of South Africa and a big advocate for mental health because I suffer from BPD. As a result, I feel strongly about and aspire to promote more awareness on the rights and mental health of kids and women, as BPD only affects females.
Who/what inspires you?
The strength and resilience of women and children who face mental health challenges, particularly those with BPD, inspires me. I believe in advocating for mental health awareness and supporting survivors of trauma. Ensuring justice, rights, and safety for women and children is crucial. By promoting a world where they can heal and thrive without fear or discrimination, we can make a difference.
Having mentors in the legal sector that keep me powered for fighting to women and children’s rights.
What do I feel makes me different/unique/stand out in this pageant?
What makes me unique and stand out in this pageant is my unwavering commitment to being true to myself. I refuse to conform to societal beauty standards that don’t define my worth. Instead, I choose to celebrate my natural self, embracing my individuality with confidence. I pace my own path, unafraid to stand out in a crowd. In a room full of people, I stand my ground, unapologetically me. I strongly believe in the need for the revival of active and effective community building initiatives that bring about a clear and positive change in the community. Why should I win Miss Soweto?
To spread awareness within the community of Soweto given that not a lot of people don’t prioritise mental health and there’s limited resources and education on mental health.
To help minors and adults to learn to embrace mental health challenges and difficulties.
To empower the community with tools and resources to equip and assist them with coping mechanisms and a positive outlook on mental health.
I aim to truly represent the minority being women and kids using my reach as Miss Soweto as well my qualification in advocating for their rights, to implement policy changes, and enforcement of actual justice for the minority.

3. Name: Boitumelo Molotsane

Bio:
My name is Boitumelo Molotsane, a proud young woman from Soweto, and a Bachelor of Accounting student at the University of Johannesburg.
Last year, I stood on this very stage and was crowned Second Princess and today, I return stronger, wiser, and more certain of who I am and what I stand for.
Education has shaped my purpose. As a tutor and mentor, I’ve learned that true impact isn’t found in titles, but in how you use your voice to uplift others.
I am inspired by the courage to dream, to dare, and to become everything I was told I couldn’t be. This journey has taught me that growth is not about changing who you are — it’s about evolving into who you were always meant to be.

I am a young lady from Diepkloof Soweto who has immense love for education, exploring different places and cultures. My personality and drive to inspire the young girls from Diepkloof to dream big Because I have the qualities of of a winner and will empower other young girls from Soweto.
Short Bio:
With a passion for learning and a heart for service, I’m a firm believer that education can change the world. As a former paralegal, I’ve honed my skills in research, analysis, and problem-solving, but now I’m focused on exploring new horizons and making a positive impact through volunteering and supporting NGOs. When I’m not planning my next adventure, you can find me advocating for the importance of education in all its forms. I’m driven by curiosity, fuelled by good vibes, and always looking for ways to make a difference.
My mother inspires me greatly as she is someone, I got to witness firsthand conquer adversities and create an amazing life for herself, and myself included and the results of this, is young women I grown to be and the young people who have managed to be educated and employed because of her.
Honestly why I should be Miss Soweto is because winning will enable me to use my platform to help even more with the feeding schemes and NGO organisation, I work closely with that aid the youth in Soweto.

Education: A Second year Construction studies student at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Hobbies: I enjoy listening to music and spending time with young children, imparting some knowledge and teaching them some basic modelling skills.
Bio:
I am a firm believer that children are the future of our societies, hence it is imperative that we nurture them into the best versions of themselves.
What do I feel Makes me Unique:
As a co-founder of the Ma’Mlangeni’s Feeding Scheme, which is based in Orlando East, I have witnessed firsthand how certain socioeconomic conditions affect children’s development.
Given the opportunity to be the next Miss Soweto, my intention is to leverage this platform to amplify my passion to uplift those around me.
I would use this platform to reach more children beyond the barriers of Orlando East, firstly to help provide them with their basic needs, like food, and to teach them to utilize resources.

I’m inspired by Zozibini Tunzi who was crowned as 2019’s Miss Universe. I think she is really admirable and motivates me to work twice as hard as I am doing right now so that I could own that title one day.

I’m Valentina Makhubu, a 21-year-old 2nd-year B.Ed student at Unisa. With additional skills in painting and tiling (certified in 2022), I’ve also had the privilege of working with the Ml Mashele Foundation for 3 years, where I gained valuable experience in community development. Now, I’m eager to start my own foundation, focusing on empowering youth with skills and guiding them through tertiary education applications.
Who inspires me:
My grandmother is my biggest inspiration. She raised my siblings and I after my mother passed. Showing unwavering love and dedication. Despite facing challenges, she ensured we never felt the absence of our mother. She taught me with love, resilience and determination that anything is possible, and for that I’ll forever be grateful. “A grandmother’s love is the foundation on which strong families are built”.
