Expect the unexpected when Dunstone Country Estate’s renowned luxury-infused lifestyle event – the A.R.T ‘WINE Exhibition – returns on November 1. This year, the day promises outstanding food, fine wine, design, fashion and live music entwined with life-affirming artwork. With just 200 tickets available, the Dunstone A.R.T.’s WINE Exhibition will once again be among the premier wineland gatherings of the year.
“We’re incredibly excited to be hosting the Dunstone A.R.T. ‘WINE Exhibition again,” says Dirk Vaeye, co-owner of Dunstone Country Estate with Maudie Marie Smit. “For us, this is more than just a showcase – it’s an invitation to immerse yourself in the beauty, creativity, and warm hospitality that define Wellington. This event is the perfect way for visitors to experience the wine lifestyle and excellence our valley has to offer.”
On top of getting a first-hand view of distinctive design, art and fashion, guests will taste wines from producers across the region as well as top-end brandies and whiskies made in this picturesque part of the world too. Alongside Dunstone, participating producers include Wolvenhoek, Jacaranda Wines, Bela-Bela, Doolhof Wine Estate, Canetsfontein, Hildebrand Wines & Olive Oil and Tempel Wines.
The star attraction is a five-course tasting menu paired with wines from Wellington. Seating times are staggered to keep the experience intimate, and guests may select their preferred slot when booking.
The leafy Dunstone Estate of Bovlei lies in the vineyard-adorned foothills of the Hawequa and Limiet Mountains, one hour’s drive from Cape Town CBD. Its wines, guesthouse, Roots Bistro, and gallery have made it a popular destination all year round.
For the 2025 A.R.T. ‘WINE Exhibition, there are numerous programme highlights. Among them, Cap Classique, oysters and macarons will be served on arrival. There will be tapas-style wine-and-canapé pairings in the gardens of the manor house. Further gourmet encounters will be offered on an art walk through the vineyards and orchards of the farm.
On show will be curated works from local and emerging artists and amongst others, the V&A Waterfront-based Art@Africa Kunye Collaboration.
While enjoying live music performances, guests can explore the gardens, recline in luxurious outdoor lounges or browse a series of pop-ups featuring the work of participating designers, artists and antiques collectors. Wellness add-ons like hand and foot massages at a beach-style bar will also be on offer.
Along with a décor exhibition, there will be a red-carpet fashion show too, where designers will exhibit the latest styles.
